If you have carpets in your home, you are constantly on your guard. Although beautiful home accessory carpets, also, tend to be magnets for all kinds of dirt, filth, dust, stains and spots. And the evidence that something bad has happened to your carpet is always there, right in front of your eyes. There are three stains that every carpet owner dreads – chocolate, wine, and ketchup stains. Luckily you can deal with them without to much trouble.
Thanks to Camden carpet cleaning company I can share some carpet cleaning tips with you if any of the above mentioned stains occur on your carpet.
Chocolate stain is easily removed just by using warm water and any kind of cleaning detergent. First scrape off as much of the remains from the fabric as you can. Combine washing detergent with 2 cups of warm water and treat the stain with it. Blot the stain area with cloth or rag afterwards.
When dealing with wine stain act quick. Blot as much as you can from the spill with paper towels or clean cloth. Soak a sponge in combination between 2 teaspoon carpet shampoo and 1 cup hydrogen peroxide. Blot the stain with the sponge until the stain lifts. Then blot dry the area with paper towels or cloth
Ketchup stain. Start by scooping any remains and then by blotting the stain with cloth. Mix 1 tablespoon ammonia with 1 cup of water in a spray bottle. Spray the stain liberally and then blot with paper towels or clean cloth. Allow the spot to dry.
That’s it. Nothing hard, right? Just one last word, NEVER SCRUB OR RUB the stains. Carpet cleaning Camden warn you that this way you spread the stain deep into the fabric. Oh, one more thing – act fast.
